Students at a Wisconsin high school pulled a senior prank that was so good they were applauded, not punished.

Even the local police department in Cumberland had to hand it to Cumberland High School seniors after they made it look like a car had crashed into their high school for their senior prank.

“Hats off to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018 on your senior prank. Congratulations Class of 2018 on one of best senior pranks that Cumberland High School has seen,” cops wrote in a Facebook post. “Congratulations to all the seniors who are graduating.”

Cumberland Police posted photos of the creation, which featured an old Pontiac and a lot of bricks in front of a black tarp taped to a wall and meant to look like a huge hole.

The school district even had to hand it to the pranksters. Along with photos from the scene, the district wrote on Facebook:

“You had everyone a little nervous this morning! The police department is saying this senior prank was “one of the best senior pranks that Cumberland High School has seen.”

“Students positioned an old junker strewn with loose bricks in front of what appeared to be a gaping black hole in the building’s side, just outside the principal’s office.”

The district added: “The best part? This prank included absolutely no damage at all to school property, which is why police singled it out.
